I watched the movie this weekend, and I noticed an awful lot of anachronisms. The movie is set between 1985 and 1992. I think you can spot something in this picture to prove my point.
Edit:
Other things I've noticed:
Late 90's TVs, Modern-looking Fax Machine, 1987 Saab set in 1985 (I can't find pictures, I'll probably have to download the movie to make som screen grabs). This kind of made the whole movie feel weird... it was kind of disturbing and made me focus and think more about these things than the movie itself.
The acting was spotless... And I mean, award worthy. But these details make the movie feel weird.
Anyone found something I've missed?

You are correct. That model of Hane's T-shirt didn't appear until 1992.

Dude, pretty sure that is a Fiero in a body kit

I know, right? That's a very weird looking body kit. Although, lightweight is key no matter what.
On the other hand, this kit now has balance and doesn't need help to stand:

Haha nice to see it can stand alone!

I also noticed the Aventador and too-new TVs.

Oh! Didn't see your post there.
Did these things also kind of killed the movie for you?
At one point I thought this was intentional, to make the movie feel timeless. But then they kept on saying the dates.

Easy to miss my post as it was a comment on some other post.
The Aventador didn't bug me too much. I'm sure it was just a slip up where the production designer said "hey let's get a picture of a Lamborghini on his wall" and then some intern got the first Lambo poster they could find.
If you think about it, making a movie that happened in the relatively recent past seem period-correct is probably harder than something like 50+ years ago. How many people are going to see some Victorian-era romance with Keira Knightley in it and say "hey this movie's supposed to take place in 1845 and that's totally an 1876 steam locomotive"?

Exactly. The Aventador was the least... but still, it felt kind of wrong altogether.
But the mistakes are simple, like the TVs, fax machine, or even (as pointed in some places) the advancements in knowledge about AIDS, like the diagnostic. And could easily be corrected.
I mean, making a movie about something that happened less than 30 years ago with a TV and fax machine from 15 years ago is like having a telegraph in Keira Knightley's 1870's office.
I'm probably just too pedantic on all this.

I noticed a few things too that were modern props.
Bottles of Shiner Bock were all with current labels, nothing like what they used to look like in 1987.
The doctor had a bottle of Cupcake Wine in her apartment, but that didn't come out until 2008.
